So I can put the banned grip back on the front of my tec 9 now?
|
|
Because of the fixed stock, that is an SBR, so the foregrip question is moot.

I always wondered about the BCM angled foregrip. Guess I'm going home and slapping it on a pistol

ATF says it's only a VFG if it's "90° to the bore," and now B&T does too. Behold their latest PISTOL configuration. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/8BBC66B7-4067-43D3-A913-F5C5D9E7A0A8.jpeg https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/87087623-ED70-4D10-8023-55A731099C1F.jpeg Therefore, these are also not VFGs https://i.imgur.com/ofrwfe8.jpg After all, this is a perfectly legal pistol https://modernwarriors.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Micro-Roni-4.jpeg View Quote |

I mean, its not plumb, but couldn't you say that its 90 degrees to the axis of the bore when viewed from the front, or is it kinked off to the side as well?

Can it be 89.9999999999 degrees?
What part of it do you use your protractor on, the front edge, rear edge or base? What if it's canted to the side? What if you have vertical foregrips? Foregrips are not a foregrip. |

I will buy the first non-nfa TMP that I come across.
That is sexy. |

So an A2 grip, attached to the rail is good to go!
Peak A2 grip! |

Maybe this is why the not-vertical VFG on the 93R is at the angle it is? https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/58021/93R-2-677465.JPG View Quote |

Most of the time the ATF are dicks, but every once in a while I wonder if we have some "inside" guys that are doing what they can to help us out
