I hope the title doesnt get me banned  Everyone gets so pissy with the mods, I just dont understand. This is not a government funded website, there is no Freedom of Speech/1st Ammendment issues because its a private website. They have a tough job. And 99% of the time they do it with honor and WITHOUT pay. Mods are human and probably a bit nicer than you think they are. If you have a problem with a mod, TALK to them, IM them, hell IM Staff. I dont understand why everyone thinks issues should be publicly broadcast. Give them a break. If you are shitty with them, what do you expect in return? |

Then talk to 82nd... Unbunch your panties, swallow your pride a bit and talk like a man. Mods can move or delete what ever they want to. Bitching about only makes things worse for YOU. Try talking. I read the post about your truck and quite frankly I think 82nd was right. It "appeared" as if you were trying to get more movement on your ad. No big deal... Change the wording or remove the link and ask. |
Now sometime that is impossible. My bear thread got moved with no way to know who did it. Of course I knew why. I posted it in GD to show it off because I knew hunting would not get much traffic. Besides my "friends" hang out in GD. |

Remonstrating about how YOU think you broke no rules will get you nowhere if done in public. The moderator obviously thought your thread was too much of an "ad" and too little of an "inquiry." Spamming the forum with rant threads will end badly for you. I promise. |

even if you honestly think that you're 100% in the right, it's best not to approach site staff and mods in a gruff manner like in the thread i saw a little while ago. an attitude usually gets you more of an attitude in return. even if a mod made a mistake, what do you think is going to happen when you publically call him out? is he going to say "hey, thanks for being a dick. i'll do exactly what you say"? probably not. in fact, i'm willing to bet that an account will end up locked - and it won't be the mod's account. |

I think you have to look at the oridinal thread to see who moved it... It may be impossible now. |

Did you jump your post within the no jump time? If so, it should be you who apologises. Let one do it and it all goes to hell. RePost in the original msg and you will be fine. I don't see mods going berserk here, and frankly if you act an ass to them, what do you [or I] expect? IM if you have an issue with the mod FIRST, posting it first is nothing more then airing laundry nobody needs to see, especially if you can work it out privately. I'm sorta glad this place is modded, it'd go to hell without them and I want by $24.00 worth. Thanks guys!!!!! |
If you had looked PRIOR to your editing the first post, you would have seen that it had been edited by ...... ME .... as it is script marked as such when moved. However it replace my nick with yours after you edited it |
