That's a cool revolver. Wish I had the extra $$ to add it to my collection.

Just guessing....$750-800...??

ETA - probably need to find someone with a Blue Book to make sure.

I thought the same , gunbroker has a six" at $700 I think! I hate to see him sell it , I may just buy it from him , once we see what they are going for!

Those are in line with what I'd expect.
I lucked into a 629-3 a few years ago for 300$... Damn near stole that thing.

The 8 3/8th inch barrel lenght is the least desireable, when it comes to collectors or shooters. The 6 1/2" barrel is far and away the most sought after.

True.

A 29-2 should be early 80s, at the absolute latest. I'd go as high as 900 as described, but even that seems high to me.

You have to remember that the 29-2 is P&R, and does not have the lockwork enhancements of later models. Hot hand loads (such as the Keith load) are best avoided.

I'd say you could probably get at the least, $900.

I'd pay $850-900 bucks for it, if it's as nice as you say.  I'm sure it could fetch $1000 to the right buyer.  Seems like the 29's are really going up in value lately.

also, your years are off, 29-3 came out in 1982.
