18", measured from the boltface to the end of the bbl... and a little more for safety.

Good point...A pump shotgun with an 18" barrel and a folding stock MIGHT be less than 26".

If it's a folding stock, isn't it 26" OAL with the stock unfolded?

By the Fed law (note some states doobie different) OAL is measured with a folding/telescoping/collapsible stock in its extended postion.
