My kid wants minecraft for his PC.
I tried to download it and all I got was a bunch of malware. Is there a site that's safe or can I buy this in a store instead? |

https://minecraft.net/ To note, minecraft costs $27, it is not free so any site offering is probably spam Fuck, wish I knew that before. Computer is loaded with FUCKWARE now that I cannot uninstall. Goddamn it. I'd rather have a disk or something... can you buy it in a store? |

There is pretty much only that one site (mentioned above) for Minecraft. As has already been said, anything else is spam and malware.
Guessing they figure every 10-12 year old is going to Google 'Minecraft Free' because I've never seen so many fake sites. I have been gaming since pretty much the dawn of gaming. I won't say it is the biggest pain in ass but it is a lot more trouble than it looks, ya know? Not as clear as it could be. |

If that doesn't work, google Rkill, download it run it repeatedly then run malwarebytes. |
