Looks like I have to move the family to North Dakota. |

CATO Institute is full of shit. Why don't you just post a National Inquirer article along with it? John |
|
Yeah, this should get interesting.
And for all the 'isolated incidents', they do seem to be increasing, over the years. As for equipment used? As long as it's available for their fellow citizens, I really don't care what gear they (the police) have. Now. Where's the article on policy changes after the departments/agencies get their collective peckers slapped? |

Keep joking guys. When this shit happens to someone you care about, you will feel differently. |

Basically, the police are at fault for anything that goes wrong during a warrant no matter what the suspects action were. Fucking stupid. John |

So just looking through some of the "Botched Raids" map, and I see that according to the map the following would deem the raid "Botched":
1) not finding drugs 2) not finding weapons 3) not finding "enough" drugs or weapons 4) Looking through anything by "Rifleing"
5) If the person/suspect/resident has "no prior record of violence" 6) Anything gets broken 7) The resident is not home 8) EVERY SINGLE RAID involves people being "thrown" 9) If anyone gets a gun pointed at them

Keep joking guys. When this shit happens to someone you care about, you will feel differently. You'd have to wake my local cops up first. |

“We now live in a nation where doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the press destroys information, religion destroys morals, and our banks destroy the economy.” And how is this accomplished? By the global elite’s use of police that have pledged to “protect and serve” but instead “oppress and terrorize.”

I'm confused. Is it ok for the Police to be militarised at raids where they get it right, but not at ones where they get it wrong, or is this just a 'the Police shouldn't be militarised at all' thread? It doesn't really matter because at the end of the day it is about the militarisation of the old bill, so it's a train wreck regardless. |

It was a major shit storm after video was shown on TV of the storm troopers and their GSD's making a raid on a high school. |

Total bullshit: Title: Kathryn Johnston This shit either never happened, or is blatantly spun to fit an agenda...Type: Death of an innocent. State: GA Description: Acting on a tip from a confidential informant, police conduct a no-knock raid on the home of 88 year old Kathryn Johnston. Johnston, described by neighbors as feeble and afraid to open her door at night, opens fire on officers as they burst into her home. Three of the officers are wounded before Johnston is shot and killed. Relatives say that Johnston lived alone, and legally owned a gun because she was fearful of intruders. She lived in the home for 17 years. Police claim that they find a small amount of marijuana in Johnston's home, but none of the cocaine, computers, money, or equipment described in the affidavit that was used to obtain a warrant. There are now allegations of a police cover-up. Developing...
