Does anyone sell an application that will move application files/folders to a new computer *AND* update the friggin' Windows registry so they will continue to work?  The registry is some geek's wet dream and is a collosal POS.  If only they would bring back INI files.

I have a new Dell and a million apps on my old computer.  I may not be able to find the original installation disks.  I may not remember setup options on them.  I may not have the 3 man-years needed to manually install all the old stuff on the new computer.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, I should have gone with Linux.

The only one I know worth looking at is Aloha Bob.  Be warned that it still has some odd problems.  But if you don't have installation discs, that's probably your best bet.

Thanks for the tip.  It figures that the only solution to my problem is named after a gay Hawaiian.
