Ok... I've always been curious what all the "terms" are for people of different states... example: I am from California, so I am a Californian... Texas:Texan, etc what about the other 50 states?

Idaho?
Illinois?
Minnesota?
Etc...

Lets hear it no matter how funny it sounds...

Michigander.

Stupidest name for a state resident in the country.

Also, I refer to people from

The Carolinias as Carolidiots
Florida as Floridiots
Texas as Texicans
New York, Massachusettes and Kalifornia as Communists
Ohio as Morons
Illinois and Indiana as FIB's (Fuckin' Illinois/Indiana Bastards)

In most of Iowa a resident would be called an Iowan.

Northeast area may make you an Iowegian.

Along the southern border would make you a hillbilly.

I believe in other parts of the country they call us Hick Farmers.

Hey, what a coincidence--my wife just mentioned Monday night following our club shoot that you are considered to be her next "target"--as soon as she is finished with me.

(No, I'm not kidding)

BK - I appreciate the compliment, but if she only knew what a pigheaded jackass I really am I'm sure she'd only want to use me as a real target.

How about "damn Yankee". When I was living in S.C. I was called that frequently. Didn't mind at all because it was true. BTW, had a female friend that always said she liked to hear me talk. I asked why? She said she liked to hear that Yankee accent. To all you South Carolinians, you have a beautiful state and the people are great. Very friendly. I had a great time down there. Hated to leave. "The South shall rise again!"

True, but my family on both sides are from Springerville/Eager, the rest of my family still lives there, and they don't call us Phoenicians, they call us "Flat-Landers" as in "Get of my mountain you damn Flat-Landers!"
