I am just curious as to what people are seeing. I know in Indianapolis where I live I see at least 10 McCain signs for each Obama sign. Please tell the board where you live and what you are seeing.

Thanks

I have seen far more McCain signs than Obama signs in NY.

Of course, I'm talking NY STATE. Even in Orange County (which is chock-full of cityits), the trend holds. If we could cut NYC and Long Island off the state, we'd be pretty blue up here. Kinda like Illinois with Chicago.

Tons of Obomb signs here (and guess what they are all beater cars)... only two McCain signs so far.

Little sign war going up in my neighborhood.  Neighbor had a McCain sign up, first on the block.  Someone stole it.  Was walking my dog last week, saw a couple of Obama signs up.  In the intervening days someone apparently didn't like the Obama signs because they are gone now.

I don't put signs up, but I did give to the McCain campaign.

McCain now.  I used to see a bunch of Obama signs, but after the first debate a lot of them seemed to have disappeared.  Not sure whats up with that,

been seeing McCain signs around my hood.

I'd say there is a slight edge towards Obama signs over McCain signs here.  They were giving out Obammy signs for free at the local fall festival several weekends ago, I'm sure lots of droolers got their signs there.
10/6/2008 9:39:38 AM EDT
[#8]
Quite a larger number of McCain/Palin signs here.

That shouldn't surprise anyone.

[#9]
Only just recently have I started seeing any McCain/Palin signs appearing here in Cabot and surrounding.  I don't really see a lot of Obama signs until I get into Little Rock, and they are absolutely THICK down in Camden as well.  Most of the McCain signs are in the yards, whereas Obama signs are primarily on cars.  Which may or may not be antedoctal evidence that McCain supporters are mostly landowners whereas Obama voters are generally transient.

Also in my neighborhood, one guy at the end of our street still has his Ron Paul sign up.  Go Underdogs!

Here in Lorain County, OH, just west of Cleveland, I'd give a slight edge to Obama signs.  But as I pointed out to my wife yesterday, the number of Obama signs out are about a quarter of the Kerry signs that were out 4 years ago.

I hope what we see is a true measure and not just us grasping at straws looking for a McCain victory.

Even here in NoVA, I see more McCain signs than Obama signs.

McCain supporters know that an McCain sign or sticker is an invitation to vandalism by "peaceful" liberals.

So, I consider every house or car is see without a sticker or sign of any kind to be McCain supporters!

You KNOW the Obamatons are going to put up signs and stickers with pride!
10/6/2008 9:43:35 AM EDT
[#14]
Mostly Obama signs around here, but my nextdoor neighbor just put up a McCain sign.

I still have my Ron Paul signs up.

Ya can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting an Obama sign. Seems like McCain signs are few and far between
10/6/2008 9:45:31 AM EDT
[#17]
Only McCain sign around here is the one in my front yard.  On the other hand I haven't seen a single Obamamama sign around so I guess we are winning.
10/6/2008 9:46:46 AM EDT
[#18]
For the past month in my town, it was something like 35+ McCain signs to 3 or so Obama signs.

In the past WEEK the Obama signs have come up , now it's about 3 to 1 in favor of McCain.
10/6/2008 9:48:20 AM EDT
[#19]
Yard signs? 10-1 Obama over McCain, same with bumper stickers.

I counter by putting 2 McCain/Palin bumperstickers on my truck.

[#20]
10-1 Obama. Unfortunately

Rural PA:  On my 8 mile commute, I count around 20 McCain, 1 Obama.  In this area, that 1 Obama was likely a prank, as I haven't seen it again.
10/6/2008 9:57:39 AM EDT
[#24]
I'm seeing more Obama bumper stickers, but I don't think I've seen a single house with an Obama sign.

In my neighbor hood I guess you can say there are an equal number of signs. However as I get closer to Austin, I see more and more Obama signs.

+1, I mentioend the same thing to a friend. I have yet to see a single Obama sign, all I see are McCain signs and a few Obama bumper stickers.

Obama is a Douche Bag

McStain is less of a Douche Bag.

Lots of signs supporting both of these Douche Bags in my area.

Roughly 80% McCain.  Small town rural Ohio.  Hope these areas can override the metro high population eithnic areas.

Unfortunately, here in Michiganistan and so close to the peoples republic of Ann Arbor, it's about 10 to 1 Obama signs.
10/6/2008 10:07:34 AM EDT
[#30]
Funny thing here in my state. NONE of the signs have either Republican or Democrat on them. Just the persons name. Seems here anyway, the Democrat signs are Blue, and the Republicans are White.
Is that just here, or is it the same in other parts of the country?
10/6/2008 10:08:41 AM EDT

More McCain house signs, but more Nobama car stickers

McCain signs 4 to 1 in my part of Prince William County, Northern Virginia.

I am keeping from putting up my Confederate Flag because well you know how liberals are they fly Commie flags without a problem

I do not see any signs at all here in DFW

In my area of South Central Texas - we pretty much consider anything Obama to be vandalism.

Home town and road to ranch is about 40-0 McCain.
10/6/2008 10:19:52 AM EDT
[#36]
Mostly obamanation signs around where I live, but I saw a BUNCH of McCain signs in some of the places that the poker run took us through this weekend.
10/6/2008 10:35:39 AM EDT
[#37]
my area has a high concentration of ethnic personnel.....there's at least 3 Messiah signs for every McCain.....and the Savior's bumper stickers outnumber McCain/Palin by at least 10/1.

My wife and I went to pick up our new voter registration cards last week.....I've never seen so many militant african-americans lined up to register....I don't want to think about how bad We The People are gonna get screwed if nObama wins
10/6/2008 10:38:59 AM EDT
[#38]
On the way to the gym I see 3 Obama signs and 8 McCain. It would be one more if mine wouldnt keep getting removed.
10/6/2008 10:54:00 AM EDT

Out in the sticks I see a metric ton of McCain signs.  Go into the world of blacktop, it is mostly obama.  I would say it is about even around my parts.
10/6/2008 10:56:28 AM EDT

I see the State & Local Demonrat signs in Peoples yards, but only about

10% of those have an Obama-nation sign also...this gives Me some hope

that these Folks still have some functioning brain cells.

WTF, I live in indy and see way more barry signs.  Though I've also seen a giant mitch one.  Like, 5 feet by 8 feet giant.

10 to 1 Obama

I don't see either one here. The only signs I see are for local yokels. This county (and state) are overwhelmingly pro McCain. I guess they don't see the need to advertise it.

in Milwaukee here there seem to be more Obama signs... they're everywhere...

back by my parents house in Waukesha, I only saw two Obama signs all weekend... and lots and LOTS of McCain signs

No signs whatsoever.  Isn't there an election this year?
10/6/2008 11:21:47 AM EDT

All thats around here are Obama signs.  I spoke with an Officer yesterday who said their most common calls received are to report stolen McCain signs.
10/6/2008 11:28:27 AM EDT
[#50]
I haven't seen hardly any yards signs for either candidate. Bumper stickers are about even although not many of those around either. Last couple of elections I saw tons of yard signs and bumper stickers. I think people around here are keeping a low profile. Don't know why though.

BTW, I live in a liberal stronghold called Alachua County. It's been a blue island in N. Florida for many years.
