Hi All,
Anyone have issues with there stitching? I have a year old Falcon II that sees little use. To and from an office job. No hiking, no camping. Today I noticed a 3 inch section of stitching that had come loose from the zipper strip. The zipper is fine, but no longer stitched to the bag.. LOL. Is it worth taking it to the local dry cleaning lady to restitch? Regards |

I've had tons of maxped gear and a few problems with stitching. On one backpack a part of the molle webbing starting unstitching and on a canteen carrier the belt loop/molle panel started coming off.
PS. Nothing that was a dealbreaker or big deal, just repaired it and going good since. |

Their customer service rep's response? Warranty doesn't cover hardware. I haven't bought a Maxpedition product since. I hope you have better luck than I did. |

I too had a buckle break, they sent me a new one. I've had a Fatboy for probably 7-8 years now. Take it with me everywhere I go (no hard use). Stitching is still 100%. . |

I'll check with the dry cleaner today. Otherwise, any decent packs that may be cheaper? I really don't put them through much use. Just to and from an office setting pretty much. Thanks Why are you checking with the dry cleaner?

Going to contact CS. I just thought the local stitcher lady could fix it for $10 instead of shipping back and forth and waiting.. Personally I'd rather have the company repair/replace the bag then let someone randomly stitch it. Last time I had a dry cleaner stitch some cordura, they charged me a lot, didn't have the right needles, and in a few weeks the cordura ripped like it was perforated paper at the stitching. |

I bought my wife a small kifaru pack and it was too big for her. They completely cut up and resewed the belt and shoulder straps for free like a year later |

Thanks I recently bought a Tactical Tailor Urban Operator pack to use for work. US made and less than $100 on Amazon. It has a separate padded compartment for laptops that I was wanting. So far it has been a great pack. |

So far it has been a great pack. I have the same. My only issue so far has been the nylon is so stiff and abrasive on the back that if you're wearing a tshirt or hoodie it causes the cotton to pill |
