The stuff up close is Mars, not the shiny thing in the background. This is a recently-released pic of a Martian sunset; it is rendered in false colors to enhance the interest. |

The object in the photo is the sun, but the photo was apparently taken ON mars. Mars never looks that big from the earth, unless... How did Swift expertly and precisely describe the two moons of Mars in his book Gulliver's Travels BEFORE the moons were discovered and investigated by astronomers? |
