Dang, you got a good deal from Specialty Defense, to be able to pass them on at 44 bucks under their own single unit price. Nice work.
Hey what kind of feedback have you been getting on them. There was a report critical of them in Marine magazine- but they kept just referring to MOLLE gear and not specifying Mk1 or Mk2.

The ones I have are all Mk II. They were sold off to the public as Surplus through the DRMO...the Marines are switching to a new camo pattern, so 3 years after they adopted the MOLLE System they need to buy all new ones to match their new uniforms.
Honestly I think the complaints that the Marines using the equipment had were either because they were using Mk I stuff that was improperly stitched, or just from use and abuse in the field...gear does wear out, and that article was published after they had already been there 3 months or so. It is good enough for what most civies will ever do, camping, action shooting, and playing Mall Security Ninja [;)]
I ditched my Eagle LBV to go with the MOLLE System myself, GarryOwen did so as well. I like it, and it is definitely better than the old ALICE system.
