How do you get the program to quit trying to fix things for you?  I'm trying to make up a test for my Marksmanship class this summer and the stinkin program keeps trying to move my answers farther right than I want them to be.  Does this when I hit the space bar.  I know where I want them, the dang computer doesn't!

My MS Office manual says that you need to sacrifice a live chicken.

I used my last one on PowerPoint the other day.  Guess I'll need to hit the farmers market.

I think you have to be over 80 to actually "hit" a farmer's market

Not sure.

Might be the Autocorrect command (under the Tools column in MS Word 2000).  There’s some way of turning it off, but I’ve never been able to figure out how.

Good luck!!  Sometimes I just get frustrated and simply save the file as a text file.

This might work.  Thanks.
