He had stayed and helped his neighbors but was leaving now with his guns.  Police helped him load them and his pet python.  No mentions of confiscation.  He had a lot of guns (>40<100) and one was a .50BMG.

Very upstanding guy, could have been ex-mil, looked tired but otherwise OK.  Said he like guns and target shooting.

It was some big (lots of muscles) black dude...the also had a huge very light colored python (snake not the gun)...the MSNBC people actually said he had a .50cal MACHINE GUN (not BMG) though they are probably wrong.  He seemed like a decent guy IIRC they said he had 96 guns.   They helped him load them into a semi (he had them all in cases, nothing visible).

Hopefully, LEO's will let you go, WITH your guns.......that's what is upsetting most folks here.
