Snap.  No they didn't!

One of the best episodes of Boondocks I've seen yet.  For those they don't watch it, when MLK was shot he goes into a comma and wakes up in 2000.  He then comments on the state of black America before leaving for Canada.

someone quoted a t.v. show that happens to use the word "nigga"!  oh noes!!!!!1111 i've never seen something so offensive!  lock the thread right now before anyone else is offended.

for real, people need to chill with the "ibtl" every time something in any way related to race is brought up.

and back on topic, i thought it was a pretty good episode...  "bonelss rib sandwiches...  what will they think of next?"

The show is fuckin retarded.  And not "fucking retarded" as in "fucking hilarious" like Aqua Teen Hunger Force or Sealab 2021.  It's just plain retarded.

I think it's funny as hell. I loved the rapper episode. I saw some of the episode tonight, I came in on his speech, funny as hell. I'll catch the rerun tonight.

The episode was worth it when they showed MLK sitting down on the couch when the rappers came on singing "BOOTY BUTT, BOOTY BUTT, BOOTY BUTT CHEEKS."

Hell, i laugh any time they show that clip/segment on any show.    But the idea of MLK seeing that crap had me really laughing.

That had me almost fall out of my chair laughing, the dude has gotta be rolling over in his grave at things like BET.

It's a liberal show, but it has made me crack a laugh a few times.

It's a cartoon, so you can't tale it too seriously. Lots of hypocrasy and racism, but that doesn't make up the show.

I'll watch it again but only if there's nothing else on.

LonePathfinder, you might not know but, it is very important that you replace the the ER with an A...

It is very important in this context and it makes a big difference...

It won't help at this point...
I saw the episode and I enjoyed it...

Although McGruder is a liberal, I agree with him most of the time...

I always read his comics (I have his books) and I'm glad he's got a TV show...

I liked the part about FOX news...

SAY YOU LOVE AMERICA RIGHT NOW!!!

SAY YOU LOVE AMERICA RIGHT NOW OR SHUT UP!

And now, back to our "Fair and Balanced" reporting...

Educated black people know the truth about the trash and McGruder and Cosby are able to get the truth out to everyone else...

It's pretty hard to get the word out with morons like Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton attempting to representing us...

I don't know why anyone pays those fools (Cindy Sheehan included) any attention...

The "Thug Love" and "N***a Moments" episodes were hilarious!

I was mixed in my feelings about this show until I saw this episode.

Made me realise, this show isn't intended to be taken for sound political philosophy. It's meant to be funny. When you realise that, it actually is pretty damn funny.

Sometimes that show is brilliant.  There was one episode about a gangsta rapper that was always getting shot.  Huey says "Maybe if I don't want to grow up and get shot like him, I'll just go to college."

Yes, but at the end he is tragically killed by an evil plot by a couple of parentheses and a rogue underscore.
