From the story at that link, it sounds like the officer did damn good to draw and fire, accurately, with the bad guy having such a head start. Having killed a man at work through no fault of my own/the other man's choice, I was struck by the eyewitness account of the officer standing at the scene shaking. Believe me, it's very hard. Hopefully he can suck it up and drive on...nice job officer.
