If they really wanted to do something impressive they would confiscate all of the wealth above $1Million.  Empty the bank accounts.

So many of these 'rich' people already have their money so they won't care.

<disclaimer>I don't want this to happen, I just want to watch the rich progressives meltdown when it is recommended.</disclaimer>

Sounds like a good idea to me to be proposed.

The Republicans should actually propose it.

Millionaires being able to "afford" higher taxes is a misnomer.   Keep in mind the old adage, "Mo money, Mo problems..."

Millionaires can move or otherwise structure their income and assets to avoid most of these types of taxes.  The middle-class are far less mobile and generally tethered to a much more difficult to conceal or occlude system of assets and income.  Sanders understand's Marx's economics, but not the real world at all.  The effect of this type of tax ensures additional burden on the middle-classes.

What do you say that we just tax Democrats 100% 1st just to see how they like it?  Starting with those on Capital Hill.

Wow, the hate and ignorance on that web site is incredible.  It makes arfcom look pretty lame.
