My right sideview mirror got knocked off in a parking garage recently. I found it dangling by the wires for adjusting the mirror after a gunshow. Luckily I travel prepared and I was able to duct tape it back on for a temporary fix. The mirror isn't damaged in any way other than it being knocked off. Not wanting to cough up the money for some overpriced German sideview mirror for my VW I figure I will just fix it myself. I have tried various adhesives sold in the autoparts store to try and repair it, and they have all eventually just worn out, and usually while I was driving down the highway. My mirror would come off and start beating against my passenger window like a hungry zombie.
Well I got some Mighty Putty as a stocking stuffer from the wife for Christmas, and now that the weather has warmed up a bit I thought I would try it, and see how well it works out. I applied a liberal amount to the mirror base and held it in place for about ten minutes afterwards. Then I took my car for a drive an hour later. Everything so far after three days is rock solid. We have some decent 35 knot winds kicking outside, and I have taken it on the highway. The mirror is on there pretty solid too. Thank you Mighty Putty

It could be the greatest shit in the world and I won't buy it. As long as that annoying asshole is shouting on my TV when I'm sitting in my living room, I'll never buy a product he advertises.
