| If a MAK-90 has been modified with a USA Parts Kit and has also had a folding stock added and the barrel threaded, could it be considered pre-ban since it was modified into that configuration prior to the 1994 ban? |

No, I don't believe so. Edit - wait, so it was put into that configuration before the ban? It would have to be pre-ban then, wouldn't it? Im a little confused. |

if you had it in your possession before the ban went into effect it is pre-ban and can be configured as such. I didn't think possession had anything to do with the ban.... well if you had it in your possession before the ban than it had to be made before the ban, making it "pre-ban". the OP is referring to the 1994 AW ban, not the 1989 import ban. |

Is this a MAK with the blonde wood thumbhole stock? Those I believe are post ban ( 1994 and on) configuration. It would be illegal to convert. |

Some were in response to the Import ban, not the 1994 AWB. If one was to have been converted before 1994 but after the import ban it would be legal in NY (With its 1994 AWB mirror) as far as I can tell. |

This one had the muzzle already threaded when I got it. The folding stock came later. |
