I was reading that the windage should be zeroed and the front sight should be adjusted so the shots hit center on a windless day. Someone else said don't bother, and just click-adjust the sights so they're on. What should I do?

Shoot the gun & zero it in. I use some sort of visual target such as a gallon milk jug for the initial target. Then I have a spotter tell me where I'm impacting & adjust accordingly. After I get real close, I move on to paper targets. Hope this helps.
