My GI 1911 was okay after I put a new recoil spring and some nice grips on it...
Too bad I don't have the bread for a an M1A...
Or maybe I do...

according the the linked thread, the money deadline wont be till october, so you would have time to squirrel away.

what kinda price reduction can we expect? if any

Would we be able to order different configs?   Personally, I think I want a full no-ban rifle, but with that hardcore scope mount and and the big scope to go with it...  Oh and 25 or so mags..
