Bolt, yes, they are the same.....Carrier, NO, must use AR-15 style carrier.

the carriers are very similar what is the differance other than the fact that the end is closed on the m16. whats the big deal why the diferance in the first place?

The bottom rear of the carrier body has the same amount of material top and bottom, that means the bottom material "can be used" to trip an auto sear......ATF wisdom-logic. |
