Finally got around to watching this movie. Interesting story idea but the glaringly obvious gaffs took me out of the movie ( lack of suspension of disbelief).
I'm talking about the bullet wound out of no where towards the beginning of the film. Apparently it happens off screen, but it's really just bad editing. Or how about when she makes the bullets fall out of the bottom of a semiautomatic handgun, like there's no magazine required or in the way of said bullets just falling out freely. That one really had me going WTF. Also when she's touching fingers with the hominid (presumably the originally named Lucy whose remains archeologists found in Africa back in the late 80's) ala Michaelangelos Sistine Chapel. That was way to on the nose for me. It's crap like the above that makes Luc Besson look a little retarded. This is the guy who made La Femme Nikita, Leon the Professional, and The Fifth Element (ok this movie is a little retarded also).
