Watch it to the end and there is a 10 minute speech that wraps up what the last season was and what it meant. It was a great series that got very "meh" because of the ending. I felt Quantum Leap'd. ***Fuck you and your "God is a bartender in a coal mining town" ending to this day. |

Everyone was worried that the ending would be disappointing or unresolved....they were right about disappointing. But the work in its entirety is great and worth watching. It gets muddled and goes off on tangents in the 3rd season, but part of it makes sense later. The end is not mind blowing at all. A lot of fans figured it out and the producers said 'No, it isn't that, that's not what the Island is.' Basically, they lied, and that is what the Island is and explains pretty much half of everything. |

I really enjoyed the series.
I watched it on netfilx streaming (5 seasons the 6th I had to get by mail) over the course of about 3 months. The 4th & 5th seasons were not the greatest, but I still want more. The ending was a little disappointing. It seemed as if they decided to end the series abruptly. I also became a big fan of Evangeline Lilly |

I also became a big fan of Evangeline Lilly This is the only series that I've ever watched every episode. I liked it because it really was unique for TV and was interesting & predictable- again quite rare. As others have mentioned the ending was weak, felt like the were rushed and just punted. I read somewhere that one of the best writers left sometime before the last season so that may have impacted it. Still a great series. And yes, Evangeline Lilly is the stuff. |

And yes, Evangeline Lilly is the stuff. which sucks b/c they will be hesitant to make another show with a huge story arc because people like me wont bother to watch it until its finished just to make sure i don't get sucked into a total letdown of an ending like BSG or lost hell my friends and i used to have huge discussions on lost and what the island was. i honestly think the producers had no idea where the story was going and when they went to wrap it up they just were like "fuck it there all dead, it worked for 6th sense." |
