Anyone else sees a locked thread and feel the need to then read the thread.

Even if the topic is something I have no interest in, I become curious when a thread gets locked.  I guess it is like slowing down to look at a car wreck.

I used to like system message, but it just locked my thread for being a dupe, with no related article being linked. Damn you system message, DAMN YOU! WHY!!!!!

I jinxed that thread.
Four posts after mine he decides to want it locked.

The OP doesn't like to be reminded of that one.

I don't know why he didn't scrap the OP text. That will be forever viewable even after archiving.

How about the ones that vanish when you click on them? Like the "Yo Dawg, I gots Me Some Cannons" thread. Anybody know why that one disappeared?

I had a thread get deleted the instant I hit "submit" to post in it.

POOF.  Gone.

I wound up back on the GD main page I think.

That was weird.

Threads about locked threads, however, hold no interest to me.

You can, just click the red minus sign to the right of the thread title in your subscription list.
