We cut the satellite link a couple months ago by going with our Prime Account and Fire TV.

With the decent free shows via Prime, been watching Justified from the beginning and Goliath and other great shows, I do want to be able to watch A&E for First 48, Live PD (a version of Cops on steroids;) as well as AMC hits and SyFy stuff.

We have an outdoor antenna for local stuff and I did install the program that shall not be named, along with the Video Add-Ons to watch other new releases.

I did install USTV Now, which gives me A&E, AMC, Fox News, etc., and includes an online DVR, but it honestly sucks since it buffers and the online DVR seems to be wonky, though I imagine if I complain they will credit me or offer solutions (they seem to be a great company).

What service for live network streams (that can be done via a Fire Box and are legit, as in mo scrip) have others used with decent results.

I saw DirecTV offers a online service (we left them for Internet TV) and have seen Sling and PlayStation offers.

We are on a 200 mbps service with a pretty solid 50 mbps down and a cap at 2 terabyte monthly allowance (we only use 1 TV and web surf). Fire TV stuff, Apps like Pluto and NRA and Weather Nation play just fine.

Let's not get this locked with staff disallowing bootlegging apps.
