I just went through the training today.  Sounds like a great system.  I was told that it is mainly used along the coast.  For those of you using it how do you like it?  Anyone in the central US using it?

We use it in Washington - helped me catch bad guys more times than I can count on both hands and both feet (but that's about as high as I can count...).

Our crime analysis specialist uses it with great success here in WA.

I too use it here in WA and it is great...when I can remember my password.  Having photos and info from many other agencies is very helpful.

I use some Linx based programs when I do some computer investigations. I use SPADA and RAPTOR to do computer previews and initial investigations.

They have their pluses and are pretty easy to use plus they are open source.

My entire agency (600+) just recently went through a LINX class and have it linked on our MDT's CAD system.  I think it's a great tool, and would love to see the entire eastern seaboard a part of it, as the information we could have would be endless and priceless.

We just got permission to use it on all our MDT's.  Not too impressed with the pawn shop search, but I imagine that could get better the more shops that come on line.  It appears to be a very good tool.
