Highly over rated, with a sh*tty lead singer, who can't sing. I'd say their 15 minutes are up, and they're in the spot they deserve...LAST!

First off, voted by who?

Second off, for 2003?  I'd tend to agree.  I think this last album was horrible.  I wouldn't count them out yet though.  I wonder if the original guitarist leaving had anything to do with it.  I didn't think he would have been that involved in their sound.  I guess whatever little freaky bit he brought in was important though.

I am not sure how Fred Durst ever got a record contract, because it wasn't based on his ability. This guy is an over-aged street punk. I wouldn't care if he had some talent, but I also agree that it has been time for him to go since he showed up.

More of a Korn, Tool, etc. kind of guy and just thought Limp Bizkit was seriously riding some coattails.

Matt Cord, a DJ on Y100, a Philadelphia radio station did an interview with Fred Durst.

A little way into it he tells Fred he does not like the new album.

Douche bag Durst starts saying "your too old, you don't get it."
This POS can not take criticism at all.

Hell, I haven't liked any music made after '75.

Who the hell are they anyway?

It was scrolled across the bottom of an MSNBC show I was watching last night. I didn't catch who.

You truly need to check your musical history.  Go back and look at who hit the mainstream, and who popped up on MTV first, Korn or Limp Biskit.  Limp Bizkit paved the way for band like Korn, Likin Park, and others.  Personally I can't stand that whiny bitch from Korn, or those little twerps from Linkin Park.  Korn's whole "I got diddled when I was 12 so now I'm all torn up inside & conflicted" schtick is getting old.

Limp Bizkit was fun because they weren't all serious about shit like that.  Their lyrics are fun & entertaining, they have a good beat, and they (used to) have some variety in their sound.  With this last album though alot of that has gone away.

I think Zakk Wylde said it best on his live cd "Limp Bizkit still sucks dick"

Richly deserved.  They suck in all possible ways.  Always hated them.  Creed made the runner up.  They're horrible as well.

In fact, I'm really astounded by just how shitty the music on the radio is these days.  I know there are good bands out there, but the record companies and Clear Channel seem to be in some conspiracy to only air the worst bands.

The readers of Guitar World magazine.  I haven't read guitar magazines for about 10 years, but I'm glad that kids today who know even a little about music know what complete crap bands like Limp Bizkit and Creed are.

And I've heard complete albums from working jobs with fans of Creed and, Limp Bizkit, Staind...all that horrid shit.

Norm, I take an "ignorance is bliss" stance when it comes to the backgrounds, politics, history, etc. of bands I like and just pay attention to the music. I didn't know Limp Bizkit was big before Korn for the above reason; interesting to know though.

I avoid hearing the Korn "I got poked in the ass when I was 12 so now I will vent forever" themes or the  Metallica "Napster is evil and waa waa waa". I hated the Dixie Chicks before they stuck their cunts in the mouths so that one didn't really matter. I just listen to what I like and try to block out their ridiculous lifestyles and comments.

First I like Hip-hop.

Second, I HATE all these rock-rap groups similar to the likes of Limp Biskit.

They can neither RAP nor ROCK.

I'm looking forward to the day this garbage falls off the face of this earth like Alternative music.

Hmmm lets see....the limp ones first CD came out in 1997, that was $3 bill ya'll. Korn's first cd, which was self titled came out three years earlier in 1994. Limp bizkit made it's first big break tour wise as one of the several groups on the  Family Values Tour in 1998 a tour which included KORN, Orgie, ICE Cube, Rammstein, and limp bizkit. How do I know because I coverd the tour stop in Milwaukee, I interviewed Durst after the show. Hell I still think I have the negatives around somplace as well. No Korn was vastly more popular than the limp when they hit the music world in 1997.

Do they have use Viagra, if they did then I don't think their "Bizkit" would be so "limp" and things would "LOOK UP" for them!

Limp Dick Durst sucks and so does the band he fronts.

I like some of Korn's stuff, but I do get tired of the hatred for the world themes in there. I just like some of the music I guess.

I have despised Durst for some time. He needs his clock cleaned...

Limp Bizkit's cover of "faith" is what broke things wide open for all these bands.  I specifically didn't say "who had the first album out" I said "who hit the mainstream first".

That Avant Garde type of response went out 30 years ago with Yoko Ono. "If you don't like it, it's because your just stupid."

Well I got news for y'all, your emperor is but-fvcking naked! Their so-called music SUX and THEY'RE the ones who are too stupid to tell.

Their cover of faith did one thing. It brought them more media coverage. Korn was more mainstream, and out there before the limp ones even hit the industry. The style that sloppy bizkits has music wise was heavily influanced by a lot of things, and a lot of bands one of those bands was KORN. The style and the sound were already mainstream when limp hit the industry. They were neither the first nore will they be the last with that sound. Lets face it if your not mainstream you don't headline tours like the family values tour. Korn was already well established in mainstream music when the limp dicks hit.

KORN had a huge underground following before they became mainstream.

KORN's Jonathan Davis helped Limp Biskit get their music out there.

I like KORN, but can't stand Limp Biskit.

Yay!  The people have some taste after all.

Limp Biskit might be decent if they dropped durst [preferrably on his head].

you are EXTREMELY wrong, Korn had that little song thats like a bad nursery rhyme on the radio when I was a freshman, LimpBizkit didnt make the radio until my senior year.  MTV happened the same way.  Personally I cant stand numetal and think both should have never left their garages

My liberal director wanna-be super anti-gun friend LOVES Korn, and Limp Bizcuit.  I sat there watching him bounce around like an idiot blasting that cr*p in my house one time.  He did it just to p*ss me off.

Limp Bizcuit & Korn IMO are some of the most distasteful and cr*ppy music I have ever heard.  I think I like 1 or 2 songs total that aren't their usual run of the mill "let's scream at the top of our lungs cause we can't sing" songs.

I think it's like the rebellious freak movement cr*p that you see in the malls, people with paint on their faces, dressed in black trenchcoats & girls in black pants that fan out to make like 2 foot circle around each foot... ya know, trying to make a "statement."  I'm all for different fashion senses, but they just wear that cr*p to make a statement and get attention.

I fear the day when I have a son who comes home in that mess.

I personally wouldn't know these guys if they walked up to me. I think that I heard something on the radio a few years ago by them. I stopped listening to the radio about the same time. I have enough music media from the 60's on up to keep me happy for years and years. I DO like Less Claypool/Primus though.

i'd like to hear how they'd sound without protools.  i bet the singing would be even worse.

IIRC korn used to open for sick of it all.  i saw limp dick at warped tour in 97 and a lot of people knew who they were.  i didn't.

i'll stick with slayer, the haunted, pantera, etc.  as a guitar player limp never did anything for me.  most bands on the radio don't.

I just wanted to say that I like all 3 bands being talked about here, Limp Bizkit, KoRn and Linkin Park. Of all of these bands KoRn's latest record is the WORST. Don't get me wrong, they are my favorite band out of the group and have seen them Live in concert twice. Korn is the most talented out of all 3 bands. Korn is absolutely amazing live. They sound exactly like their records produced in the studio. Korn toured 15 years before they hit the mainstream.

Why does everyone like to jump on the "I hate Limb Bizkit" bandwagon? Yes, Fred is an ego maniac, but what band leader isn't?
