                                    A congressional task force investigating
the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing had
                                    information suggesting that Islamic
plotters recruited two "lily whites" -
                                    non-Middle Easterners with no connection
to prior terrorist activity - to carry
out the attack ultimately perpetrated by
                                    Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols,
according to a report broadcast late
                                    Saturday.

This does not surprise me in the least. It has been my contention from day one that McVeigh and Nichols did not act alone.  It just saddens me that it took them seven years to confirm it....at least to go public with it.

An Oklahoma City reporter has been working this angle since the bombing.  She was interviewed on FOX maybe two weeeks ago.  The FBI refused to accept her info before McVeigh went to trial.

This is an interesting site with some background on this story.

Can’t vouch for it’s accuracy though.

There is one big hole in this conspiracy theory and one that hasn't been accounted for.  The words of Tim McVeigh.  He claimed and all evidence supports the fact that he bombed the Federal building in retribution for Waco.   I don't buy this Islamic terrorist plot theory.

He's part of the conspiracy. Protecting his employers (the ATF and FBI working with the islamists).

Is it too far-fetched to imagine that McVeigh was manipulated by a foreign agent(s)?

Just because HE believed it was done for "Waco", doesn't mean that he couldn't have been actually serving Islam.
He might not have even known.

Ya'll really need to subscribe to SOF magazine. They were uncovering poop on OKC years ago & continue in this months issue.

There's a German connection to the bombers that the FBI won't either acknowledge nor interview. IIRC there's no Islamic connection but it was some sort of Aryan thing.

The bad part is there's all this evidence out there yet no one is able to hold the FBI's feet to the fire & make them accountable.

Needless to say, the BATF is involved in it with all the worst possible scenerios.

I've heard that no BATF agents were killed, despite the fact that there was a BATF office there. You've got to admit, that's a little suspicious.

Normally I stay away from these things, but if you were to sketch a portrait of Jose Padilla, based on a description taken by a witness... that's as close a match as you are going to get. [:(]

This months issue has a photo of a govt agent who claims he was miles/hours away from the blast yet the photo clearly shows him on site.

If it wasn't so sad it'd be funny.
