So I finally succumed and got the LR/PS bunde for the $10/mo subscription.

I've imported all my digipix into their Library and want to start playing around.

When I view one of my raw images in the Library it looks like this:

When I go to "develop" it it looks like this:
Lightroom develop by FredMan, on Flickr

This is with me changing No settings on anything.  How the hell can I get the original image to look "normal" in develop?  This has happened with both raw images (NEF) and jogs.

Yeah, that's not it.  All my images look that way in develop, whether they're raw or previous conversions.

Could this possible have something to do with my camera being set for sRGB instead of Adobe?

Nothing.  It's not raw related, here's a jpg in both Library and Develop.  Same problem.  I just don't understand why it looks one way in Library and completely different in develop.

OK, problem solved.  Seems as if the graphics processor in my thinkpad is the culprit.

When I uncheck that in Edit>Preferences>Performance it looks normal.

This was the first thing that came to mind.
Glad to see that you got it working.

This was going to be my next suggestion if my experimentation with your raw didn't reveal anything.

Zack, I don't know if I even have your email, and the raws about 28 MB, so emailing one might have been an issue.

For future reference, how would I go about getting you (or anyone) a raw?

Given those file sizes, your best bet is to put the file on Dropbox.com or Google Drive or the like, then just put the URL in your post here.
