| Anyone see this? Worth putting in Netflix queue? |

It's a great movie. My wife and I really enjoyed it. But you have to like movies with a story. If you like movies like Forrest Gump, Big Fish, etc, you will love Life of Pi. If you can't enjoy drama's, than skip it. Since you mentioned Big Fish, which I saw recently and liked, I decided to check out the trailer to this movie. Looks interesting. If it's still on Netflix, I'll probably watch it tonight. |

Threads with polls -
You cannot see the results without voting. I have not yet seen the movie, so how can I vote? What would my vote mean? How many others voted in your poll just to see the results? How do these uninformed votes affect the results of your poll? I hate polls. |

A poll without pie, is a poor poll indeed. Indeed! A poll without pie is a poorly planned poll. Perhaps, planning for pie is a prerequisite for polling. P.S. - the wife says Life of Pi is anti-Christian. Does anyone here understand that argument well enough to state the case? |

This is typically not the type of movie I would decide to go see from watching the trailer but the girl I was dating this winter wanted to see it so we went.
I was amazed by the movie. the scenery was beautiful. the story was awesome- there were plenty of hilarious scenes and lots of intense scenes that were pretty exciting or had you on the edge of your seat. thats my opinion anyways. I give it 4 out of 4 |

The cinematography (or should I say the CGI) was amazing however,...
I disagree with the basic premise of this movie and that invalidates anything and everything else about it. The fact that the premise is almost hidden by the film makers is really, really bad. I will not watch it again. |
