Real simple...the ATF enforces laws, it doesnt make up its own as needed.
The law currently on the books will sunset on 9/13. On 9/14, anything that the AWB stated is irrelevant, as if it never existed in the first place. Dont read more into it than that, it really isnt rocket science...the people that make the laws arent going to come up with a bill that can be passed in 3 weeks. The ATF can say whatever they like, but the law as of 9/14 says you can disregard the AWB. |

This has been hashed over. The ATF cannot put conditions on the ban after it sunsets. Thats why they call it sunsetting. Its over with, period. You are awake and it is going away.....buh bye....buh bye...
