had a Jard adjustable in my 10, it was great with surplus ammo, but tended to double with regular factory ammo.

Not JP; the first I had didn't hold up and started doubling at around 1500 rounds. The second JP has too much creep and 2 pound pull.
I think I will try a McCormick next, although right now I'm trying to figure out why my 1911 doesn't shoot too hot (accuracy) with a 10 round Shooting Star magazine. |

I've enjoyed my Jewell which is about 8 years old now - the adjustments are dead nutz simple and I enjoy a two stage trigger. Mine is set for less than a half a pound as measured with a digital guage. At that wieght doubles are wicked fast. The trigger pull is more of a press or a gentle tap. With a simple adjustment of moving the leg around the trigger is simple to set to a higher level.

Wouldn't a Knight-type SR-25 sniper rifle except with an AR10 be possible? And more desireable for a rifle tasked for that mission?

Of those triggers on the list, I'd pick RRA. If you have a lot of cash burning up your pocket, get a Giessele.
