I have a dell Inspiron E1505. It has been great but I have recently started having intermittent wireless network dropouts. I went to Dell and downloaded a 1390 WLAN driver update. When I installed it, it prompted me to restart. Upon restart, my wireless network Icon(lower right of screen) wouldnt come up and I got(get) the following error popup- "bcmwltry.exe- Unable to locate component. (Red X) This application has failed to start because Wlanapi.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Now I have had to plug in my ethernet cable to get online. What can I do to fix this. Also, are there any other Firmware or other type of updates I can run to improve performance and/or reliability? HELP |
