Just got a phone call and LIBORGDOTCOM came up on the caller ID.
It was a computer call, so I gave it the usual polite "Hello? Hello?" and then hung up before a human picked up. I Googled it and you could spend half a day reading links about people bitching about them. Several different numbers. A dozen variants on Google. One link says telemarketers, one says bill collectors, one says time share scams, one says lib organization trying to do...something. Get you to their web site, ask for money, do a poll, various requests. Frosty tale male sibling, yes? So do I need to get on the "do not call" list again, or what? We signed up for it a few years ago but these days we seem to be on a lot of junk-callers' lists. |

Answer the phone and shout various profanities as loud as you can.
I could call them back and get the real story, but I'd have to take my tinfoil hat off, and it takes a good hour to get a proper seal when I put it on. Not worth the hassle. "They" might zero in on my coordinates while my tinfoil is off. Plus, they'd have my number again! *shudder* |
