OK, so an employee of the government distributes drugs to the unsuspecting guy. Next, the guy gets a few years in the slammer. I hope I don't end-up spending the rest of my life in prison from the simple act of checking my mail at the wrong time.
One poor guy, in a small town not far from where I've lived most of my life, bought a house from an older woman whose retarded son had lived with her. The retarded son had ordered all sorts of pornography, including child porno. He got busted a couple of times, but it wasn't a big deal because he (supposedly) didn't know what he was doing. The mother's health declined so much she no longer could care for her son, and this poor guy bought the house. About six weeks later, he got busted for receiving child pornography. All he did was check his mail. The police found other items of child porno in his trash that was also kept as evidence. The strange part was that his lawyer claimed the items were printed by the government. Assuming that's true, the government prints the garbage, delivers it unsolicited, then bags a felony conviction on an innocent guy. Scary.
