| Why does it seem that one moderator locks the LEO threads at a higher rate than all the other mods? Please correct me if I am way off base. Thank you. |
You are off base. When the original poster of a thread asks for the thread to be locked, mods will accomodate. When a thread violates the rules or gets out of hand as determined by the laid out for moderators, the thread will be locked. That's all there is to it. Call out threads, by the way, are also against the rules. |
Police threads have always had a high mortality rate, largely because a number of people can't discuss anything involving police without completely losing it and behaving like poo-flinging monkeys. I've seen lots of "troubling" things in my time on ARFCOM....moderators and staffers have rarely been a cause for concern. |
I asked for a lock because every cop and their brother was intentionally violating the CoC to get the thread locked. I asked for the lock before I opened the sanitized thread. It got locked too because the some of the same LEOs came back and demanded a lock. It got locked too for no reason except it questioned LE. Why don't one of the LEO Moderators open a thread on the subject? It was tremendously popular and discussed matters essential to liberty and gun rights. |

1. Thread locked, OP request. 2. Thread locked, multiple CoC violations in the first few posts. OP invited to start a new thread after a cool off period. 3. Thread locked, CoC violation, OP invited to start thread again. 4. This one locked because the above have been addressed. |
