Hey guys. So a few days ago I went on a good bike ride. Lots of pedaling. Got home felt great, no issues. Next day I was sore but that's nothing new. I did notice my right knee was a little more sore than usual. Took some ibuprofen and went along with the day. It started popping sometime that day. Everytime I walk or bend it, it pops. It's coming from the posterior lateral area.
When I get up in the morning it's stiff. It takes a while to loosen up and it starts popping again. Ideas? History on that knee. About 10 years ago I injured it. They endedicated up scoping the knee and did a lateral patellar release. It's always given me issues but never this bad. Never popped like this. |
| sounds like it could be a meniscus tear. I have a really bad tear that is being removed on the 28th of this month. The popping and pain are not the issues for me but the knee buckles on it's own and seeing how I am on roofs daily that is a serious issue. I have no idea how or why it tore as I have had no trauma to that knee as far back as I can remember. |

Sounds identical to my knee history. Injured it about 15 years ago, started popping about 5 years ago. Shredded cartilage in my knee, had to get it cut out. Simple out patient surgery. Wife thinks is scar tissue causing issues. I don't want knee surgery.. :/ |
