I must say that Tom Clancy is the man. I am playing Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorrow and the story behind the game is amazing let alone the graphics. All of his games are great, Rainbow 6, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell to name some. Anyone else out there try these games out? Any suggestions on any other similar quality games out there? JP |

Yes, I've logged some serious computer/Xbox time with those games. They're pretty much the be all-end all for those types of games. If you like FPS games in general, Call to Duty is excellent, as is the Medal of Honor series. I have SO many Xbox game I'm in the middle of now, it's pathetic. I finally finished Freedom Fighters, which is mindless shoot everything that moves fun. I'm on the last chapter of the first Splinter Cell, and already started the new one. So many games, so little time lol. |
Hell yes. Talk about stress relief! I mean...there's just no finer way to take the edge off of a shitty day at work, than to load up the napalm launcher and unzip your fly... |
Well after the first time through, I made it through the game without killing anyone. |

Scottman, let em kow where your stuck in Pandora tommorrow. Right now I am at the part where you have to tap Sadnoa's phnoe, lol, if your past that can't help, if you arent let me know. I've played the medal of honor series from the beginning, they are definately sweet. Call of duty and bf 1942 I've heard about and will play once I beat the game I'm on. I have a policey I can't buy a new one unless I beat the one I'm on. Never knew Tom Clancy agreed to only having his name on the game. Sounds like him 100%, his story line atleast. Lastly, for all you Metal Gear buffs, It will be out soon and I heard it will be amazingly great, topping the second one big time. I've been playing metal gear since the first one came out on nintendoback in the late 80's, lol. P.S. any of you guys do socom on line? I'm beginning to sound like a gamer freak |
Really? Wow..last time I played, I tried to get through the game killing EVERYONE They kept respawning though... |

Best Pc Game Ever is Operation flashpoint Gold. You cant beat that game for having a huge world with an all out coldwar skirmish. You can steal cars, helicopters, etc. Drive tanks, Vulcan, convoys etc. You can be infantry, grenadier, AT , machine gunner, engineer, etc. etc. Its a couple of years old now but is the best ever. Rumor is that its due out for x box now. But x box wont compare to the PC versions, but still ought to be fun. Second runner up would have to be Rainbow Six Three for its great variety of weaponry. The best X box games are Both of the Splinter Cell games. The X box game im hooked on now is Killswitch. Its pretty cool if you like to run and gun as well as alot of duck and cover.

1. Operation Flashpoint (modded of course) 2. Halo 3. Elderscrolls 3: Morrorwind GoTY 4. Joint OPs (superior to BF42 in almost everyway except for no heavy armor....yet) 5. SWAT3 GoTY 6. Neverwinter Nights 7. Far Cry (i hope Doom 3 is as good as this game is) 8. Call of Duty (why play Medal of Honor?) 9. Golden Sun 10.Hidden & Dangerous 2 11.Splinter Cell:Pandora's Tomorrow (should have been longer though) 12.Star Wars:Jedi Academy (force choking/pushing darksiders off a cliff instead of dueling their stupid azzess is just funny. |
The game is ok. Not much playing it after you beat it though (including the unpolished US ARMY MOUT trainer hidden within.) Better then Ghost Recon, but no more realistic. Not enough grenades for your M203, near useless fire support you can only call in while practically on top of enemy armour. see more of what i wrote about it in the wargaming section. |

If you like BF 1942, and have the desert combat mod, download the desert combat "extended" mod as well. You gain a few new maps and the ability to use the .50 cal sniper rifle in one of the maps. I like the pace of BF1942... I've also tried Halo and Counterstrike. Sounds like I need to try Call to Duty. |
Yes, this game rocks. It's not a shooter game, but more of a real time strategy. It's based around coordinating squad movements through battle. Lot's of covering and point firing. You frequently have the option to call in recon units and to call on indirect fire, such as air strikes and mortars. The graphics are great, and when you soldiers start swearing and dropping the F-Bomb, it's hilarious. I'd rent it before you buy it. It's not for everyone. I bought Driver 3 yesterday. It's pretty good. It's reminicant of GTA3, but has far better graphics, better driving, and I like this story line better. Michael Maddson, Ving Rames, Michelle Rodriguez, and Mickey Rouke all do voices on that game. |
