I'm an enlisted nat. guard soldier in a non-combat MOS (at least for the next 5 years!). My second choice was 19K, and it's still deeply rooted in my mind. What's another good book you guys would recommend? Non-fiction and post-Vietnam, armor a plus!

The Hunt for Bin Laden. Good read. Can't recall the author but Amazon should have the title.

Marine Sniper. Older book but a good book. It's about Carlos Hathcock, made the respect I already had for him even greater.

Nevermind just saw the post Vietnam part.

The March Up and also No True Glory, both by Bing West.
