Today is the 1st of July which just happens to be Heterosexual Awareness Month. With the overflowing of homo celebration over the past few days, it's about time for a month of hetero pride!

The homos might be the ones getting all the media attention right now but we still make up 98% of the population.

While we're on the subject, heteros need a symbol as well. The homosexual movement has worked the rainbow into everything; shirts, bumper stickers, overly revealing paradewear, even lights on the whitehouse.

We also need something that's bold, yet simple, recognizable, yet universal.

I suggest the arrow, as in "as straight as..."

Post it on your social media, build a float for the local Indpendence Day parade and most importantly, make sure and tell your family, friends and coworkers daily that it's "Great to be Straight!"
