Wal-Mart started selling Jones Soda.

I'd never heard of it, but there were some interesting flavor combinations.
Blueberry lemon, strawberry kiwi, etc.

I am hooked on their blueberry pomegranate soda.  Freak'in awesome!

Best part is, it is cane sugar, not high fructose corn syrup.

.....so much for my diet.

The (non-diet) cream soda is the best.  Its the most unique flavor of cream soda ever.

I tried the mexican coke.  Thought it tasted just like US coke.

The sticker said "contains ...  sugar and/or high fructose corn syrup".

Someone here said that not ALL mexican coke has sugar.

Is that the same company?

Our local radio station ordered some of that stuff.

One of the DJs about vomited on the air when he tried the turkey and gravy.

I tried the berry lemonaid, and the strawberry lime.
Didn't like either one nearly as much as the blueberry pomegranate.

We have 3 Wal-Marts in the area.  Only one had the blueberry pomegranate.

Ditto!
I loves Jones but the price sometimes bothers me but not enough to stop drinking it.

Even Ruby Tuesdays even offers it now.... at a slightly inflated price.... they must charge extra for the glass and the ice but the still bring it to ya in the bottle.... who needs a glass??

Oh, and this might sound stupid....

But the stuff is fairly aromatic.  If I open a can in the kitchen, a few minutes later
my wife will yell at me for cheating on my diet because she can smell it.

For whatever reason, I find that it tastes much better if it is poured in a glass
full of ice.

All the coke I have bought marked 'hecho en Mexico' is made with sugar, however to stuff made in Nicaragua ot other contries all are labeled as having HFCS

Green apple is FANTASTIC.

And, I seem to get "full" from one cane sugar drink, where I can drink corn syrup drink after drink and never feel "full".

Back when the Seattle based company was still fairly local, and before I had diabetes, they had crack in a bottle. Banana something. Oh my goodness....

And the main office crew is realy cool as well.

I will add a pic when I get back home.

Back in the day they used to sell a flavor called "Happy."  I think they stopped making it because I haven't seen it in several years, but that stuff was insanely delicious!

I've lately been finding for sale RC Cola, Cheerwine, 7-UP, and Nehi packaged in 12 oz glass bottles made with real sugar.

Here's the ingredients listed on a bottle of Cheerwine I have in the frig:

carbonated water
sugar
caramel color
phosphoric acid
sodium benzdate
caffeine
citric acid
natural and artificial flavor
fd&c red #40

RC Cola:
carbonated water
sugar
caramel color
phosphoric acid
caffeine
natural flavors
gum acacia
citric acid

These do taste a hell of a lot better than their conterparts flavored with HFC.

The first part explains the second. Aroma is an important component of taste.
Ask any aficionado of whiskey, brandy, beer or cigars.

I bet you would like it best in a globe shaped glass, like a brandy snifter kinda thing.

great.

high fructose corn syrup is the father of diabetes.

I refuse to eat anything that has this thing in it, oh well, at least I try.

HFCS doesn't trigger your body's response to feeling full like natural sweeteners like sugar do.  The cola companies got a double whammy when they switched to HFCS, its cheaper than sugar, and people consume more.
