Way back when, I said I was going to have this slogan made into a bumper sticker and a yard sign. Well, I did.

The stickers cost me about $1.50 each for a run of 20, and the yard sign is a one of a kind. It only cost $10.00.

I can get more if anybody wants them. Just cover the cost, I get the shipping.

Other than the fact that George Orwell is dead, you may have a point.

Orwell was way ahead of his time, a genius at seeing the "big picture" and had a clear vision of the darkness that could very well envelope humanity and worked in his own way to oppose those dangers by warning people about it through his writings.

GWBush is way of ahead of his time, a genius at seeing the "big picture" and has a clear vision of the darkness that could very well envelope humanity and is working in his own way to oppose those dangers by KILLING terrorists in their own backyard.

Yep. Perfect match.

Orwell's mainly known for his objective criticisms of the Left's tendencies towards totalitarianism, in spite of being a Leftist himself.  For Leftists to take one of their critics and suggest Orwell wrote about the things Bush does (like say, liberating over 50 million people from totalitarian regimes in 3 years with minimal human cost) is either a sign of profound intellectual dishonesty, or profound ignorance.

Another thing:  If you think Orwell's opinions are worthy and valid, remember he considered opponents of going to war with Hitler in the 30's (the popular default position of most people) to be the assumption of objective support for Hitler. Peace at any price was what most people wanted, and that played right into Hitler's favor. Can you  think of any other "Orwellian" parallels in recent events?

Thats a great sticker unfortunately most braindead 'liberals' in my area would think "gee thats a good combo"  they wouldn't even figure the flag out.  Hell they would vote for that combo.

I'm thinking the same thing, that Kerry/Fonda sign is pretty damn funny to me, but there's some communist whackjobs a few blocks down the street from me handing out signs every day who would probably order 500 copies of it and use it as campaigning material.  They just wouldn't get it, they're lost.

Sorry guys...the yard sign is a one of a kind. The guy who made it for me did it more as a favor than anything.

As for those who want a bumper sticker (or several)...My incoming e-mail has been acting up lately.
I'll IM or e-mail those who requested them with my name and address.

Thanks for the interest,
Andy
