So I am filling out a job app online and it asks me for information pertaining to elementary and high school. It asks "course of study."

I just put down "general studies"

Ok to do that?

I always put general. How old are you? If you are 35 then put general. If you are 19, you might want to expand.

If you went to college you could put college preparatory for high school.

Otherwise general studies seems sufficient.

The code for most places is "general studies"
If you went on to college then "college prep"
If you had any AP or scholarship stuff then "college prep / honors"

General Studies
College Prep
Advanced Placement.

You went to college so I wouldn't put anything less than College Prep, and AP if you did that.

I took "Marketing" and "Drafting" for three years in High school so thats what I put in the "Course of Study" or "Majored In" section of applications.

Applications that have space for courses studied on anything before high-school, just shows that the person making the form really did not think about what he or she was trying to do.
