Are you loyal to the Allied States, in Cheyenne or the United States in Columbus? Texans can participate too as it is presumed that they will have to decide one way or the other eventually. |
I thought he was the Govt insider who masterminded it...its been awhile since I saw the whole show back to back. Edit to clear up my crap. & to admit I just remembered who Hawkins is.... |
He is named Valenti. He is a slimeball that is taking the opportunity to seize power. He is a head guy at jennings and rall and I think. |
Thanks! |

Cheyenne murdered millions of my fellow Americans, is a domestic enemy of the Constitution, took away my rights, declared marshall law, and put some bullshit "administrator" from a private company in charge of my life. Why in the world would anyone support Cheyenne over the lawful government of The United States of America? |
| There is a bigger issue. It shows up here very well. without like arms...of which the constitution speaks we are vulnerable. We could NEVER mount any real resistance to a well healed army. They walk in flying any flag and your fucked. Just like jerico they find themslves on the wrong side. now what ya gonna do? they have aircraft tanks and auto MG's. all the ammo you could want. Sure you may kill some folks and win a battle or two. Do you really think you can win the war? Fuck no. if they want it they will take it and bury your ass in the rubble. While it is just a show. it does point out the fundamental flaw it the " take it from my cold dead hands" mantra. Because the WILL and there aint shit you or I can do about it. food for thought. |
Maybe I missed something in my haste to mute the TV to avoid still more hyping of CBS and their BS reality show crap. The information about Columbus being the true-blue holders of all that is dear to us is second-hand at best, and what we have been 'told' may also be dis-information. Somebody needs to dig out their cached and presumably EMP-protected comms gear and do some inquiries to folks east of the Mississippi. I suggest operating mobile because of DF. I love deeply analyzing TV programs. So intellectually stimulating!

The Allied States are an unlawful occupation government. In Season 1, it was revealed that a cabinet member (the designated survivor) survived the attacks. She (it was a woman) is the lawful President of the United States. All US Military personnel are obligated by their service oaths, federal law, and the UCMJ and to obey her orders. The Senator who took control of the Allied States and launched nuclear weapons is a traitor, as are all military personnel who sided with him. |

China did not have anything to do with the bombs, they were an inside job. China just dropped humanitarian aid after the strikes. The missiles launched in Season 1 were fired at the FORMER nations of North Korea and Iran, Nuked to cover up the fact the bombs were an inside job! Valenti is the Department of Homeland security chief, He was in on the bombings. Hawkins id's Valenti as being involved and is working to expose him and anyone else responsible for the attack in the new corrupt Cheyenne government. Valenti has the major hunting that ghost Sarah who Hawkins helped assume room temperature last season because he is still under the mistaken assumption the bitch has the bomb that could expose him. Which leads us to last episode, which still has me wondering how the major knows who he is and how he knew how to contact Hawkins unless he was also CIA on a seperate but connected mission. I was flipped out when the majors voice came over that cell phone, i was expecting Chueng or Chavez. I am pissed that the dickwad from Ravenwood was put in charge of Jericho as administrator, I would see to it that murdering prick was bench pressing daisies someplace. |
As I understand it, after the 23 nukes and the EMP the government fractured into six parts (mostly due to the fact that they detonated the DC nuke when most of Congress was there, the POTUS and VPOTUS were present, among others; achieved significant decapitation of the government). The government in Columbus is the remnant of the pre-nuclear attack federal government, led by a new POTUS chosen through the line of succession in the lawful manner. They're the United States of America. The two other eastern fragments of the government (Albany and Tallahassee) realigned behind the legit government. What's left of the old constitutional gov't is behind Columbus, with whatever loyal military they have. The government in Cheyenne got one of the other splinters behind them and is led by a traitorous senator who decided to use the confusion and the decapitation of the government to seize power (and likely was a willing actor in the attack on the US). That's the Allied States of America. They're writing new history books to legitimize themselves, framing a new Constitution, and represent the end of America as it's been known 1776-200x (even going so far as to make their pretender POTUS the "FIRST" president). It's thought right now that they have significant control of stateside military, but military outside the CONUS may still answer overwhelmingly to the USA. The sixth splinter of the government, set up in San Antonio, hasn't taken a side, and the military and resource might of Texas means they don't have to. They're more than likely going to pick a side, and will probably decide the outcome in the process. They are leaning ASA for unknown reasons, and the new mission of Hawkins seems to be to get word to Texas that the ASA is the result of the most elaborate and deadly coup attempt in history, so that they don't take the wrong side. Both Alaska and Hawaii are currently thought to be in the same position as Texas, though Alaska going ASA is a foregone conclusion since it seems the ASA has control of the pipeline and significant contact with the Alaskan state gov, among other things. And then of course there's the issue of we may well have a well-armed enemy outside... someone out there, not USA or ASA, EMPed the CONUS. |
Unlike the one in DC, presently. |
Yeah, that's fi ne if you don't mind wai ting for every other sentence of d ialog because the CBS webs ite is ridiculously slow, and they don't allow buffering. |
