I saw it got a lot of bad reviews, but I am finding it to be an semi-enjoyable game. I guess it gets repetitive, but they managed to make it interesting enough so that you don't give up. This game could have been awesome, but it's just ok as it is. The tied in a lot of mechanics from other games that makes it interesting. The mid game cinematics that you have to hit arrow keys for or else you die was straight from one of those resident evils. I found it interesting how they used it in this game. The characters are all pretty different. The enemies get a bit repetitive. They also seem to take a shit load of damage to kill. It should not take 100 rounds from a minigun to drop one man sized target. Also the enemies melee attacks seems to be way better than your own. I figured the big cyborg guy with a black obelisk thing for his fist would smash people flat, but not really. It reminds me of F.E.A.R. in how it has interesting mechanics and could have been amazing, but repetitive game play and enemies bogged it down. If you are bored and out of games it is worth checking out, although with COD4, Crysis and TF2 out I doubt people will get bored enough to check it out. |
