I like the Jeep, of all models, but I know you are not trying to say the Wrangler has something over the H1/Humvvee. Are you?

In any evaluation, there is a real life factor to contend with, for real life 4 wheeling and around town driving, yes the Jeep is better by a long shot, hands down. Now if I want to transport a mounted 50, and 5-6 troops, don't have to worry about parts, gas prices, repairs, and initial cost the H2 H1 is the route to go. Now, all of that was just my opinion, my way of thinking, it don't make it a rule or law, it is just the way I feel about the subject. I mean for ultimate go anywhere capability we are talking a tracked vehicle, but again is it a real life option no.

Having driven Hummers in the Army, and now my Jeep, I have to say they are two very different animals. H1's will go a lot of places, but, their size and weight can be a hinderance in a lot of situations. Cyanide made a good point. H1's are definitely a good choice for the military, but in everyday life, there are lots of things in a Jeeps favor. I'd LOVE to have an H1. But for now, my Jeep is a poor mans Hummer. [;)]

Na, it is for 4X4 ATV's we drive on trails in the National Forest. It is the slickest trailer I ever saw, weighs 400 lbs. is all alum except for the ball conection. And is super easy to maintain.

One thing I learned during my off road and hill climbing days, the shorter the wheelbase the more places you can go.

Best sucker bet ever is I can go anywhere you can go.  Pick two trees you can pass through and they can't and take the bet.
