I do wish Jeep would bring back the "Scrambler" pickup though......I always thought those were pretty damn cool....especially with the top off and the windshield folded down.......  !!!!

Jeep remembers that sad fact. The longer wheelbase is handy for some things, I just hate getting high centered. My CJ-5 won't hold much gear, but it will haul my ass over some pretty rough terrain. |

Did tex say Cherokee anywhere in his post? I compared to a pickup while you appearanly randomly stuck your finger in a parts catalog. Besides it's not like your mention of an XJ isn't a comparison to an older vehicle Call me black why don't ya Mr Pot 
even compared to your newer truck it's within 3 friggin inches of the truck vs the 20 inches to the 2door wrangler, and 10 to the XJ you mention again making Tex'es comments completely valid |
