Those "firewood plants" used to really take up some room and had a conveyor over to a pile. I once had a wood operation so big, my brother and I were starting to look into one. We supplied firewood to over 500 condos at one time when I was in college. Wood put me through school.
That sure is one nice little compact package! |

Nice, but it's kind of small: http://www.timberwolfcorp.com/tw-pro-hd-xl-firewood-processor-optional-equipment/ There are even larger machines in this region that sit on 40 foot flat beds, and they can flat move through the firewood. However, I do like the idea of putting the splitter on the loader to eliminate a process step. |
