I'm getting ready to take my wife to the hospital, she's scheduled to be induced into labor at 11pm tonight.  According to the doctor if evrything goes as planned our baby boy will be born sometime tomorrow morning which by coincidence also happens to be my birthday!

This will be kid number four and boy number three!  Some call my wife and I crazy to have so many kids but we couldn't  imagine life without them.   As far as I'm concerned another conservative gun lover can't hurt our cause so we're doing our part!

I know I've been through this three times already but each time always feels like the first time to me.  I always feel a lot of anxiety watching my wife go through the ordeal. My wife tells me my presence is all she needs but I always feel completely helpless to do anything for her.

If you guys can spare a minute to say quick prayer for a smooth and safe delivery I'd really appreciate it.

I'll post an update tomorrow and let everyone how it went.

Thanks!

Chris

Prayers sent.  I was #4 in the litter, too.  And the third boy.  Proud to state that I was entirely unplanned.  Children are a blessing like no other, from God himself.  Blessings on your Mrs.  Civilization is nurtured on the laps of good Moms.

I just wanted to let everyone know that everything went well and momma and the new baby are currently getting some well deserved rest before coming home.  We may be ale to go home as early as tomorrow but might be at the hospital until Thursday depending on what the doctors say.  Eitherway my wife is not going to miss voting for Bush come November 2nd!

It was a long ordeal, 13 hours and 3 minutes!  Momma was a real trooper but those last 10 minutes were real intense and there were a couple of times I felt like I was going to pass out, never mind that my wife was doing all the work… LOL

BTW, thanks for the prayers!

Keegan Xavier was born on 12:03PM on Tuesday October 26.

He weighed in at 7lbs 5oz. and was 20” long.

Here he is at about 15 minutes old.

Kids are the BEST! Well, actually, grandkids are the very best, but you have a while until then.

God Bless that fine young man, and his mom and dad as well!

Keep them safe and sound...and yourself as well!

Congrads!

Better buy him a gun. When my son was born, I bought a brand-new in the box nickeled 38Spl Colt Python with a 8" BBL. It will be his when he turn 21.

Congratulations!   Buy your wife an excellent bottle of wine and have it ready for her when she gets home from the hospital.

And be sure to give her a LOT of backrubs . . . my back hurt like hell after giving birth.

CUTE baby!!!!  Welcome to the world, Keegan!
